After completing his legal education, Jessie articled and then practiced as an associate at the law firm of Gindin Wolson Simmonds Roitenberg, until Simmonds and Associates was formed in 2021.
Throughout his legal career, Jessie has gained valuable experience in cases involving Impaired Driving, Property Crimes, Violent Offences, Sexual Offences, Weapons Offences, Drug Offences and Homicides. He has also gained experience in cases involving complex Charter issues and has conducted license review hearings before Manitoba Public Insurance and parole hearings before the Parole Board of Canada.
Jessie has appeared as counsel before all levels of Court in Manitoba, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Supreme Court of Canada.
Jessie is also fluent in Punjabi and has assisted numerous clients who speak Punjabi as their first language. Jessie is also able to serve clients in Hindi.
He accepts cases on both a private basis and accepts Legal Aid certificates.
